Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Your privacy is our highest priority. The PullTable was designed with the principle of data minimization. We do not require account registration or personal details for file conversion. We fundamentally do not store your files.
Waiting List
If you choose to join our waiting list, we collect:
- Name: To personalize our communication.
- Email Address: To notify you when the service is fully launched.
This information is stored securely in our database and will only be used to send you launch notifications. You may unsubscribe and request the deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request.
Data We Process and File Handling
1. File Content (Your PDFs/Images)
- Processing and Deletion: When you upload a file, it is temporarily stored in secure cloud storage only for the time required to perform the table extraction and conversion process.
- Immediate Erasure: Once the converted Excel file is generated and successfully downloaded by you, the original file and any resulting interim data are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers. We do not maintain backups or copies of your documents.
- No Inspection: We do not inspect the content of your files beyond what is necessary for the automated conversion process.
2. Technical and Usage Data
We collect minimal technical information for system stability and to gather statistics on service use.
- Preventing Abuse: To enforce our Fair Use Policy (e.g., limiting the service to one free test per day), we temporarily log the IP address and country. This data is anonymized or deleted after a short monitoring period (typically 24 hours).
- Analytics: We track non-personal usage metadata like file type, conversion time, and success/failure rates. This information is anonymous and used only for understanding traffic and improving the service performance. We do not link this data to individual users.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We rely on third-party processors to run our service. We ensure these partners uphold high security standards.
- Cloud Services: We use cloud services for temporary file storage during processing and for core conversion functions (table extraction). The uploaded file is temporarily transmitted to these services for processing and then deleted.
- Analytics: We use third-party tools to help us understand general website traffic and usage statistics (analytics).
Data Retention
We only keep your data for as long as strictly necessary to provide the service and meet our legal or operational obligations. We aim to minimize retention wherever possible.
- Uploaded Files: Deleted immediately after successful download or within 24 hours if not downloaded.
- IP Addresses: Anonymized or deleted after 24 hours.
- Waiting List Data: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Usage Metadata: Anonymized data retained indefinitely for service improvement.
Cookies
We use cookies for two primary purposes: Essential Functionality and Performance.
- Essential Cookies: These are strictly necessary for the service to function correctly (e.g., remembering your cookie consent preference and maintaining your session state during file processing).
- Performance Cookies: These help us measure how users interact with our service. The data collected is anonymous and used solely to improve the functionality and performance of PullTable.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, nor do we use any cookies to collect or store personal data beyond what is needed for the purposes stated above.
Your Rights
Despite the minimal data we collect, users have rights regarding any personal data we may temporarily hold (such as IP information):
- The right to access your data.
- The right to rectification (correction).
- The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- The right to restrict processing.
